“ Came here to watch a basketball game and while the atmosphere isn't hype or anything, there are a bunch of TVs all around which makes for a good viewing experience. The Nachos are pretty affordable at ~11 bucks and super filling! Loaded up with guac and other toppings. I appreciated the service, but wish they had a true sports bar atmosphere as it is pretty sparsely packed. ”
“ I work at a financial services company nearby and we had our team holiday party here. It was the best option in terms of location, space, and pricing. We had about 60 people and were given a cordoned off space on the far right. Raja, the manager, was my main contact in booking the space, and he was very helpful and available to us on the day of. The appetizer platters that we ordered additionally were plentiful and enough to feed us all. Location was ideal - a 5 min walk from the office and directly outside the A/C/E Canal St station. My only gripe was the bar service. We ordered the 2 hour all-you-can-drink package for all of us. While it was helpful that wine and beer were made available in our space, for the first half hour or so, we had to go to the bar for drink service. There was only one bartender there and he took a long time to make drinks and disappeared for a while. Another woman came to take over and started taking drink orders of the people behind me and my colleague. When I pointed that out to her, she rudely responded that she just got there and didn't know who was next (clearly we were, we were closest to the bar). After that, I was able to quickly get my drinks from the 2-3 servers that circulated in our section. It seems they weren't prepared right when our party started, but quickly made up for it. Overall we had a nice experience here and are already making return visits (I heard some folks went to AoA for a farewell party earlier this week). ”
“ We had reservations about 30 minutes always and decided to stop for an app. We ordered a drink and the shrimp app. I expected a few shrimp and very little. When it arrived I was amazed out just how good this was and the sauce was amazing. It was enough for three of us to have all we wanted. The drinks were great and the price was as good as could be expected in NYC. I highly recommend this app and place. ”
“ Passed by this place so many times near the E train and yet I never thought to have come here until my friend told me about their dollar oysters during happy hour. We came and tried it - the oysters are not very good! However it gets four stars for really good drinks and food. My favorite dish above all is the fig and prosciutto pizza. It comes also with arugula and fresh mozzarella cheese - the combination is fabulous but I think the crust itself is very good considering this is not a pizza joint. I also enjoy the Cobb salad - a generous portion rounded in a bowl, with lots of toppings to go with it. I'd say I'd definitely be back, and hopefully the oysters will be better! ”
